Data management plan for the grant, "Collaborative Research: Diversifying Human-Centered Data Science through the Research and Design of Ethical Games." This project studies collaborative learning in a virtual setting for groups of peers with conflicting methodological cultures and diverse backgrounds. An additional artifact of this two-year, interdisciplinary project will be a prototype of an educational game, targeted towards the underrepresented communities and the greater public, that will bring more people into critical conversations about the roles of AI and data science in our society. The primary aim of this research is the production of novel theories in learning sciences regarding collaborative learning in the face of diverse backgrounds and cultural norms.

Article discussing competencies required for digital curation. The results of the analysis show that digital curation jobs are characterized by a complex interplay of various skills and knowledge. The findings of this study present emerging requirements for a qualified workforce in the field of digital curation.

Data management plan for the grant, "Connecting Communities with Libraries, Archives, and Historians Through Oral Histories." The University of North Texas (UNT) Department of Information Science, partnering with the UNT Oral History Program, will host a series of forums to identify best practices and strategies to respond to challenges around building, implementing, preserving, and accessing community oral history projects. The project team will convene librarians, archivists, oral history practitioners, public historians, community-based memory workers, and others working in oral history to identify good practices, share challenges and lessons learned, and prepare an actionable roadmap for building, implementing, preserving, and sustaining community oral history projects.

Data management plan for the grant, "Developing a High-Quality Academic Environment for Broadening Participation of Hispanic Students in Computing." The objectives of the grant are to Enhance the education quality and broadening the participation of Hispanic undergraduate students in Computing through new pedagogy adoption, cultural transformation, and offering guided research opportunity for students. The project is also going to study the cultural asset-based education for Hispanic students and to understand which cultural asset would be the most important impact factors for Hispanic education in computing.

Data management plan for the grant, "Distributed Learning for Undergraduate Programs in Data Science at Diverse Universities." Here, we propose to expand on our previous NSF-supported work in developing a suite of courses in data science (DS) that were taught across a network of 4 undergraduate institutions in a distributed learning (DL) format. The current proposal seeks to expand the size and diversity of our network while adapting the advanced distributed learning (ADL) technology of the U.S. military to an academic setting to harness the power of AI in tailoring optimal learning experiences for individual students.

Conference paper elucidates the issues facing language archive managers and users through two steps: content analysis of information organization in language archives, and semi-structured interviews with language archive managers and users. Primary challenges identified include lacking institutional support and a range of factors which impact authority control in language archives. This version is the author's accepted manuscript.

Data management plan for the grant, "Improving Student Learning While Decreasing Bias in Teaching Through Simulation." Research on the simEquity project which will implement a scalable model for developing equitable, culturally responsive teaching practices through simSchool, a simulated teaching environment. The project will identify best practices to help teachers recognize and mitigate implicit biases that often impact student success. The project team will iteratively develop and test a Teaching without Bias curriculum and an AI-driven set of bias reduction tools that can be added to existing simulation instruction modules.

Article providing remarks for a management plan for Brazilian linguistic documentation repositories in order to contribute to their conservation. It was presented at the 1st International Workshop on Digital Language Archives held on September 30-October 1, 2021 as part of the ACM/IEEE Joint Conference on Digital Libraries 2021.

Data management plan for the grant, "Minority Cyber-CREWS: Minority Community Cybersecurity Research, Educational Engagement, Workforce Development, and Security Best Practices." This project aims to improve cybersecurity research, education, and collaboration capabilities for the University of North Texas (UNT), a minority-serving institution (MSI) in the rapidly growing and diverse Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) metropolitan area.

This article reports the first empirical investigation of various dimensions of organization and representation of recorded knowledge and information in language archives. The study used a combination of semi-structured interviews and content analysis. Results demonstrate that, while some of the phenomena related to organization of information in language archives are specific to these types of archives, others are more typical and have been addressed by libraries in past research and practice.

Data management plan for the grant "PERFECT-Providing Environment and Resources for Stem 9th-12th Graders in Effective Cybersecurity."

Presentation on the long term preservation of and universal access to language data which may tap into typologically rare phenomena and which represents the intangible and irreplaceable heritage of indigenous communities. This language data can be in the form of audio, video, picture, and various digital formats. In order to prepare the source files of a documentation project for ingest to a digital library, linguists and digital librarians must develop a common procedure that takes into consideration (1) provenance and varying formats of materials and (2) necessary metadata specific to linguistic datasets.

Conference proceedings of the 1st International Workshop on Digital Language Archives held on September 30-October 1, 2021 as part of the ACM/IEEE Joint Conference on Digital Libraries 2021. It includes 14 peer-reviewed papers that were presented at the workshop and an introduction from the workshop organizers.
