The members in attendance of the meeting were, Jeremy Halbreich, Gary Borders, Larry Walker, Patrick Birmingham, Nelson Clyde IV, Darrell Coleman, M. Olaf Frandsen, Belinda Gaudet, Buddy King, Ken Whalen, and Darla Thompson. President Jeremy Halbreich opened the meeting and Ken Whalen presented the administrative report stating that TDNA fiscal situation had improved and the association is looking forward to a surplus of one-hundred thousand dollars.

Minutes for Decemebr 6, 2007 Texas Daily Newspaper Association Board of Directors Meeting held at the Headliners Club in Austin, Texas. Those in attendance were, Charles Moser, Gary Borders (by conference call), Stephen Beasley (by conference call), Patrick Birmingham, Darrell Coleman, Olaf Frandsen, Belinda Gaudet, Matt Oliver, Doug Toney, Ken Whalen and Darla Thompson. President Charles Moser called the meeting to order and stated the purpose was to review TDNA's financial activities for 2007 and adopt the operating budget for 2008.

Texas Daily Newspaper Associations' honored Patrick Birmingham with the 2008 Pat Taggart Award, one of the prestigious honors within Texas newspapers. Birmingham was given the award because he represented the ideals of the community and journalistic excellence as exemplified by Fentress Newspapers publisher, Pat Taggart. The second page honors John Roberts of the Victoria Advocate with the Frank W. Mayborn award for Community Leadership. The Mayborn award was established to honor other newspaper men and women who have firm commitment to community service. The document continues with other men and women being awarded for their services to the community and their newspaper.

The 2005 year-end budget projection as of September 31, 2005 for the Texas Daily Newspaper Association. The document states that TDNA is left in good standing, with a net profit of $55,800 projected for the end of 2005 it will wipe out the association's 2004 carryover deficit of $24,489, leaving a surplus fund of $31,310 by year's end for the next year.
