Postcard of scenes from Texas. Printed on the top left of the postcard is "TX-1 Greetings from Beaumont Texas." Each letter in the word Texas has 2 scenes in it. The are as follows from top to bottom. T - State Capital in Austin Texas and San Jacinto Monument near Houston. E - Spindletop gusher in Beaumont and possibly plateaus in west Texas. X - Possibly great plains around Amarillo and possibly Galveston Beach. A - possibly the Rice Hotel in Houston and possibly the Neches River shoals waterfall. S - The Alamo in San Antonio and a field of bluebonnets, the state flower of Texas. Printed on the back of the postcard is the following information regarding the postcard's creation: "C.T. Photograph of a Crown Central Petroleum Corporation heater under construction. The structure was built by Alcorn Combustion Company out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with materials provided by John Dollinger Jr., Inc. Scattered construction materials and steel beams are located throughout the site. A ladder is leaning against the left side of the structure. Several men are standing near a building in the far right background. The back of the photo is stamped "Litterst Com'l Photo Co. 2007 Polk Ave. Houston, Texas PR 0703"
