[James W. Emery's house at 415 Wheeler Street, now College Avenue, where Dr. Frances Daisy Emery Allen first hung her shingle]

Mounted photograph of the front of a house with various women and children posing on the porch and front steps, the front yard, and the second floor balcony. Handwritten blue and black ink inscriptions below the image read: "(Annie, Daisy, Lottie Emery.) 415 Wheeler St. (now College Ave.) Bertha Preuitt, Sybil Wilson, Lois Wilson holding Aline, Fannie with Paul, Bess Wilson, and Grandmother Emery (Dr. D. Emery Allen's mother.) It was at this home I hung out my 'shingle' 1897."The recto bottom left corner of the mount is missing and the mount has overall abrasions and staining. There are water stains running along the recto bottom of the mount and extending partway up the front right edge. Brown adhesive stains are visible along all four verso edges.

The image on the left shows Carl Venth, Cathinka Finch Myhr, Sheila Emery Allen, and sixteen other young female music students lined up in front of a house. Sheila Emery Allen and Cathinka Finch Myhr Venth are standing on either side of a large basket and are holding stuffed toy dogs. An inscription on the vero of the original frame read "Pupils at T. W. C., Mrs. Venth & Sheila Allen with dogs." The image on the right shows a group portrait of eight young women in formal dress posing with stringed instruments. An inscription on the verso of the original frame read "String Group, Acc. - Virfian England [Este], Sheila Allen." A handwritten inscription in pencil on the verso top left reads "Mrs. G. W. Parker, 2432 Colonial Park, Ft. Worth, Texas, 76160, 375-7149."

The right oval photo is a profile view of a woman from the shoulders up. She has light colored hair styled up and wears a large pearl earring. The far right photograph, slightly covered by the right oval photograph is of a woman in a renaissance period style dress and head piece. She stands with her body turned to the side, head facing the camera, and arms slightly outstretched to show the long fabric hanging off her sleeves. The back of the board shows heavy water damage. [Allen family riding donkeys in Mineral Wells]

Photograph of five people mounted on donkeys in a rocky outcrop with a rocky mountain wall behind them. They are all dressed up, the women wearing long dresses or skirts and the man wearing a three-piece suit, and the boy at center wearing a nice jacket. All wear hats except the man, whose hat has fallen on the ground, and the boy who holds his hat. The photograph is mounted on black cardstock which has an imprint in gold on the lower left corner that reads, "Photo Car / H. Clark / Mineral Wells, / Texas." On the back is an inscription naming the individuals from right to left: "Annie Emery - Dr. J. W. Allen - Paul Emery - Dr. F.D. Emery - ?" There is also a large imprint on the back for the Weatherford, Mineral Wells & Northwestern Railway.

Photograph of the Fort Worth High School class taken on the steps of the brick and stone building. A few students are seated in the first two rows while the rest stand. The women wear long dresses or skirts with long sleeve blouses. The men wear dark suits with ties. Some students wear hats. The photo is mounted to an off-white board with gold printed designs framing the photo and the words "The D. H. Swartz View Co., Fort Worth, Texas." The board is mounted to another board that has paper strips with typewritten text reading: "Fort Worth High School taken by D H Swartz Co. . date c 1890s Third row from top , fourth from left, above and to left of girl with rose in hand is FRANCES DAISY EMERY. Her head is tilted to her right / Her sister Annie Bell (sic) Emery is third from bottom row and third from left. She is holding the hand of a close friend Lucy Nored( later Mrs Lucy Runnels Wright)." A hand written inscription on the back reads, "1890-1894-Hi Sc" and also lists Frances and Sheila Allen's address.
