Message from Manuel de Iturbe to local Spanish officials with orders for the arrest of several individuals who were causing troubles in the province. According to the document two escaped soldiers are among the troubled group; the document is signed by officials acknowledging their having received the notice from de Iturbe.

Two letters to José Ramón Díaz de Bustamente, one from José Manuel Pérez, and another from Petra Nicolasa de Chávez. Both letters give an account of the recent incidents of the insurrection which is spreading. The first letter is badly torn and stained, and is entirely covered on the outside by pieces of tape; the second letter has a few tears, and is covered with pieces of tape in certain spots.

Form sent from Juan Fermín de Juanicotena showing how to make financial reports on taxes on renting of houses. The document contains a partially filled out example chart and more explanation text; there is a list of towns on the left side of the back side of the document showing where this is to be sent.

Announcement from Viceroy Venegas saying there is a ten percent tax to be put on renting houses, plus other regulations regarding renting homes, buildings, etc. At the end of the document there is a response from Juan Juanicotena from February 18, 1813.

Correspondence between Miguel Sánchez Navarro Palau and José Lazano Benavidez. Palau says that two thieves guilty of robbery are being sent back to Laredo; Benavidez replies back, in July, with a message that the thieves have been received in the town.

Message from José Antonio Benites to José Francisco de la Garza saying that Antonio Cortés has arrived. Benites asks de la Garza to fill out the form properly and send it to back to him.

Document with a publication of new laws put forth by the Cortes de Cádiz. At the end of the document there is a description of a man wanted in Camargo for crimes he committed, added on to the text. The document is badly stained, and the first four pages are blank.

Message from Manuel de Iturbe to Spanish officials with orders from Spain to prevent contact of citizens with Louisiana. According to de Iturbe the orders also serve to warn Spanish officials against English designs on the northern territory as well as the activities of General Wilkinson. Spanish justicias acknowledge the message by signing their names and dating when it was received.

Message from Manuel de Iturbe to Spanish officials saying he is sending decrees from the archbishop of Mexico City and the viceroy of New Spain concerning the capture of insurrectionists; the men mentioned are Miguel Hidalgo, Ignacio Allende, and Juan Aldama. This document is signed by local Spanish officials acknowledging their having received the notice.

Message from Felix Calleja to José Antonio Benavides acknowledging his having received documents previously sent by Benavides; the named messenger has not been seen in Guanajuato according to Calleja. The document has a few stains and has a piece of tape covering the frayed edges of the right side of the page.

Announcement from Manuel de Iturbe to the Spanish justicias and captains in the villas and towns with results of elections for the cortes. de Iturbe mentions that places that have not yet elected someone should do so. There is a second document, signed by Juan Mazoleni and other Spanish officials acknowledging having received the announcement from de Iturbe.

Two documents from José Ramón Díaz de Bustamente calling the province to arms in case the insurrection were to spread into Nuevo Santander; de Bustamente says Indians are to have a bow and 50 arrows apiece. He also calls on parish priests to animate the Indians to the Spanish cause instead of the insurrection.

Request from Gabriel de Tovar to José María García asking for justice over a physical assault done to him by Rafael López de Oropeza. The document includes testimonies, and signatures, from witnesses; according to the document the inquiry needed to be suspended several times due to emotions running high.

Four documents of correspondence between Santos Pérez de Dayton and Tomás García Davila. de Dayton asks for justice against Vicente Rivero, who mistreated him; the following messages say the case has been heard, and a decision handed down. After each break in the correspondence there are signatures from numerous individuals acknowledging the previous message.

Document from Francisco López covering multiple topics such as government, legal, convoys, prohibitions, etc.

Two Messages from Miguel Sánchez Navarro Palau to Governor Antonio Cordero y Bustamante concerning the process of two men guilty of robbing the parish priest of Laredo. The first document contains a list of questions, and is signed in various places by local authorities; the second document from Palau is signed by Cordero and dated January 31, 1812.

Four documents from Juan Fermín Juanicotena to alcaldes with different announcements, requests, etc. The first is a message saying that money minted in Zacatecas and Coahuila is valid, followed by a public announcement of the same message sent to various towns and villas in Mexico. The third document concerns two wanted army deserters, and gives a description of both; the last document is a request to send leather jackets asked for by the governor.

Decree of festivity from Juan Echeandía concerning the birth of the royal infant, María Isabel. There are breaks in between the text where individuals signed their names acknowledging their having received the announcement.

Correspondence between Ildefonso Ramón and Juan Echeandía. Ramón asks if he can give passports to people who want to go to live elsewhere. The text is organized in individual paragraphs, with short notes written to the left of each section.

Documents concerning numerous topics relating to Spanish foreign affairs involving Napoleon, tax regulations, commerce in New Spain, arrest warrants, and regal/viceregal decrees. One document refers to a proclamation of James Madison against rebels invading Spanish territories.

Multiple documents beginning with an announcement from the King of Spain, promulgated by Francisco López, annulling the Constitution of 1812. Also included are documents relating to local affairs, regal decrees, tax reforms and regulations, and an account of the rebellion.
