Message from Francisco Menéndez Valdez to all justicias saying that Miguel Marquez is wanted for the murder of María de la Luz Hernandez. Menéndez goes into detail about the man's description and the document is signed by local Spanish authorities acknowledging their having received the message.

Message from Manuel Muñoz repeating orders from San Luis Potosí for an inventory of community goods of the various cities. The document itself is torn along the edges of the paper and has stains on the edges and corners.

Decree from Viceroy La Grúa Talamanca announcing the treaty giving peace between France and Spain.

Decree from the Conde de la Sierra Gorda to officials in six villages in Nuevo Santander wanting them to send a list of properties and land in abeyance. Included are handwritten signatures from village officials acknowledging receipt of the decree.

Message from José Vazquez Borrego to Fernando Vidaurri Borrego saying that he wants Fernando to get assurance that the sale of land will be approved. The document itself is covered in multiple pieces of tape, down the middle and along the edges.

Request from Maria Alexandra Sánchez to the Governor of Nuevo Santander asking for payment for an animal killed by a neighbor the previous year. The document has two pieces of tape holding it together and a large stain in the bottom left corner.

Letter from Petra Sánchez Uribe to the Governor of Nuevo Santander asking for the release of her husband from jail, and retribution for goods taken in excess of amount due. The document itself has pieces of tape running down the right and left sides of the paper.

Message from José Mangodo y Clovigo saying that local Spanish officials should be aware of Miguel Rico, a fugitive whom Mangodo y Clovigo has been pursuing for three years. Local Spanish officials have signed the document acknowledging their having received the notice.

Two copies of a message from José Miguel de Cuellar to the justicia in Laredo saying that a woman in Revilla wants her inheritance, which is being managed by her second husband, returned to her. In addition to this request the woman wants an account given for said inheritance.

Printed decree from Viceroy Güemez referencing a decree from November 14, 1791 permitting Juan de Aguilar, an Indian from Pueblo de Mitla to go to Spain for commercial reasons. According to the decree the Viceroy may give permissions like this, for a limited time, in the future.

Copy of an agreement with Paces and Lipan Indians sent from the Conde de la Sierra Gorda to José González. There is only two pages of text with four blank pages following the Conde's signature.

Printed decree from Viceroy Güemez saying that the tax levied during the previous war is abolished. The document has various handwritten signatures from officials acknowledging receipt of the decree.

Ordinances from José González, Justicia Mayor of Laredo, listed out over four pages. Ordinances include: no alcohol sold or brought in; no illegal games; one must report when leaving town; all outsiders must report upon entering; no butchering animals without permission; permission must be granted for dances, etc.

Long document beginning with a notice of three men wanted for murder with descriptions. The wanted men are Felipe Gutierrez, Alyo Huerta, and Chepe el Coyote, and an unknown negro; the document traveled to the different towns and villages and is signed by Spanish authorities acknowledging their having received and passed the message on.

Message from the Viceroy citing a decree of December 19, 1789 which states that no one engaged in collecting taxes or any financial administration role is allowed to engage in commerce.

Petition from Thomas Vargas saying he wants to have the things left by his mother who has died; according to the petition the things were taken by Don Manuel Villarreal. The document itself is heavily stained and has pieces of tape holding parts of the paper together.

Letter from Maria Magdalena Gutierrez to Manuel de Escandón with a list of military persons in debt to Gutierrez. The list at the beginning shows each person and how much they owe; Gutierrez requests that there be enforcement to pay these debts.

Request from the Conde de la Sierra Gorda to officials from ten villages in Nuevo Santander. The Conde asks for statement of the financial condition of all persons in the "medio cabildo" from 1787 to 1794.

Notice from José Antonio Xuáregui to Spanish officials in nearby towns to be on the lookout from two criminals, wanted for murder. The notice is signed by each official in the northern towns acknowledging their having received and passed on the notice.
