This study has as its objectives: (1) the determination of the degree of relationship between achievement in the study of English as measured by a standardized English achievement test and achievement in the study of foreign languages as measured by teacher's grades; (2) the determination of the amount of contribution to such a relationship of the achievement in various functional areas in the study of English as measured by the subtests of the English achievement test.

The teaching of understandings and techniques concerning the care of children is certainly an important part of the homemaking teacher's job, but research by Bettelheim has pointed out that the underlying attitudes of parents often influence how well they put their knowledge into practice.

Previous studies on correlations dealing with level of aspiration have been few and inconclusive. The problem of the present study was to examine the degree of relationship between an individual's level of aspiration and other personality variables as measured by standardized tests.

The purposes of this study were as follows: 1. To measure selected junior high school students' creativity in art. 2. To determine the relationship between the following factors and the degree and kind of creativeness in art demonstrated by the subjects involved: ethnic group, sex, social class, community size, previous art training, cultural interest in the home and community.
