Photograph of two evening dresses from the "Flights of Fancy," exhibition. The exhibition, included a Jane Ventura evening dress of white crepe with jet bead trim at the bodice and horizontal rows of black coq feathers, worn to the Crystal Charity Ball in 1978; and another Ventura dress white tucked nylon trimmed with pearls, rhinestones, and white marabou feathers at neckline and sleeves; skirt of white goose feathers trimmed with marabou feathers at the hem, worn to the Dallas Theater Center Gala in 1971.

On display, a Jane Ventura evening ensemble of brown French organza and fake fur fabric with striped chinchilla feathers consisting of a sleeveless dress and matching feather cape, which the designer wore to the Pre-Opening Ball for the opening of the DFW Airport in 1973; and a Jane Ventura man’s formal dinner jacket of brown pheasant feathers with a brown satin lapel; fully lined in brown silk. Jane tailored this jacket for her husband, Sam Ventura, to match one of her own ensembles, which they wore to the Opera Ball in 1968.

"Lakshmi" A) Kimono robe of lavender silk. Hand-painted image of Lakshmi on back with lotus blossom in left hand and bird on right hand. A elephant head figure adorns the center front of Lakshmi's robe. Center front opening with floral and elephant head figures a bottom hems of sides. Slits at side seams for belt. B) Tie belt matching robe.

Evening dress of blue silk chiffon, in classical style. Asymmetrical, with one shoulder from which fabric gathers and radiates outward to the bodice. Coat of red wool tartan. Waist-length with collar. Wide quarter-length sleeves with seam down center arm; no cuffs. Double breasted; 8 rounded black plastic buttons reinforced with 2 large snaps center front; bound button holes. Seam center back; fully lined in black satin.

Sandals of dark brown leather. Flat heels; squared toe. Back strap with square gold-tone buckle. Ankle and vamp straps trimmed in overlapping gold-tone rings.

"Fairies in Flight" caftan-style dress of green silk and multiple bands of trim. Front yoke is peacock feather print. Main back triangular panel is collage of appliqué in flora and fauna with fairies in flight and bluebirds. Designer's label at bottom point of exterior back panel: "Amy Zerner"

"Sacred Space II" Jacket in long-line style of dark blue denim with multiple bands of trim and mirrored panels on the front upper left and right with appliqued peacocks.
