Video footage from The Black Academy of Arts and Letters of the photo documentary "Daring to Dream" on December 9th, 1990. The footage, hosted by Cynthia Tinselly, shows a slideshow of photographs paired with interviews of prominent African American historians and community members on the topic of their lived childhood and young adult experience growing up black during the civil rights movement.
