If he doesn't live to 21 , Hamilton is free to do what he thinks best with the money.

Letter from Captain S. Farlin to Captain Hamilton K. Redway which deatils that Farlin has sent forage for 86 horses. Farlin also notes that he has sent three sacks of oats to Redway in Kelly's Creek and delevered two sacks to Redway's team located in Camp Piatt. The oats were to make up for the shortage of forage supplies during the last ten days.

Receipt roll no. 1, created in March 1865, details the allowance of clothing to each soldier during his enlistment. The roll notes that George Stone, Ananias B. Cameron, James P. Farmer, Alfonso B. Davison, Andrew B. Kelly, and Eri S. Watson received items of clothing in the month of March. The soldier's signatures confirm the type and number of items that were received. This receipt roll was created for "F" Company, First New York Veteran Cavalry by Capt. Hamilton K. Redway.
