Speech given by John J. Herrera at San Jacinto Monument on April 21, 1958, commemorating the 122nd anniversary of the Battle of San Jacinto. Herrera dedicates the laying of the wreath to Dr. Carlos E. Castañeda who passed away two weeks prior to the event.
