Message from Manuel de Iturbe with a notice from Cayetano López de la Peña saying that Pedro Cabrera is wanted for the theft of 825 pesos. The notice is acknowledged by Spanish authorities in the various towns and villas in New Spain; authorities have signed and dated the document according to when they received the notice.

Copied message from Manuel de Iturbe saying that French General D. Alviman should be allowed to travel to Mexico City, if he were to arrive in the Internas Provincias. The document is signed by local Spanish authorities, acknowledging their having received the notification.

Message from Viceroy José de Yturrigaray saying the price of playing cards is raised from four to eight reales. The signatures from Spanish officials show acknowledge their having received the message; towns listed on the left side of the sheet show where the message was sent.

Message from Joaquín Vidal de Larca saying that José Francisco Rodríguez de Aguilar is expelled from the province. de Larca goes on to say that, should he return, de Aguilar is not to be employed and is to be arrested. The document is signed by local Spanish officials in the towns and villas acknowledging their having received and passed on the message.

Official communication from Manuel de Iturbe concerning an inventory of prisoners, lands in abeyance, and accounts to be concluded on the last day of December and to be forwarded to the government on the 6th day of January. The towns in which the document was sent to are listed on the left side of the paper including, Laredo, Revilla, Camargo, etc.

Message from Manuel de Iturbe saying that a new decree from the viceroy is being sent, and that all auction bidders who receive material should be identified. The document is badly stained and is signed by local Spanish authorities acknowledging their having received the message from the governor.

Message from Manuel de Iturbe and Felix Calleja saying that command of the brigade in Reino de Santander passes to Colonel Ignacio García Revallo. The document, which is slightly frayed, is signed by local Spanish justicias in the towns and villas acknowledging their having received the message.

Two documents, one a list, and the second a notification from Manuel de Iturbe; this comes from a meeting of governors and mayors in Mexico. The first document is a list of all pending juridical cases should be sent to Mexico City as soon as possible. The second document is a notification from Manuel de Iturbe to comply.

Copy of an official communication from Nemesio Salsedo giving notice that troops from Laredo and a large group of Lipans attacked Comanches. According to the rest of the document Salsedo requests that proper dispositions be taken to prevent further attacks and maintain peace with Indians to the North and West.

Message from Joaquín Vidal to Spanish officials concerning a recent decree from the viceroy, and encouraging those officials to comply. The second document is the decree from the Viceroy de Lizana asking to find new ways to raise funds to continue the war with France and to free King Ferdinand VII.

Copy of an official communication from Nemesio Salsedo giving notice that troops from Laredo and a large group of Lipans attacked Comanches. According to the rest of the document Salsedo requests that proper dispositions be taken to prevent further attacks and maintain peace with the Comanches.

Copy of a letter from Don Felix Calleja and Pedro de Alva with orders to arrest José Hermenegildo Muños and Trifón Marín, who both escaped while being sent to the Philippines. Also included in the document are descriptions of both of the men. Town officials signed their names on the document acknowledging their having received the notice.

Request from Francisco Yxart in San Carlos to the capitanes and justicias of "las Villas del Márgen." Yxart asks for a list of lands in abeyance as soon as possible in order to meet the required date set by the government. The signatures following the request are those of town officials acknowledging their having received the request.

Decree from Viceroy de Lizana announcing an alliance with Great Britain to fight the war against France. The second document is from Joaquín Vidal, announcing that he is sending three official decrees, including the one dated August 14, 1809 (the accompanying document). The document from Joaquín Vidal is signed by local Spanish authorities acknowledging their having received the message.

Three messages from Manuel de Iturbe with rules for people who own or operate salt deposits. The multitude of signatures on the documents show acknowledgments from local Spanish officials that they received and passed on the correspondence. The last document appears to be a message from Viceroy Iturrigaray, promulgated by Governor Manuel de Iturbe.

Message from Viceroy José de Iturrigaray saying that Juan José Pinto is in charge of the Real Asiento de Alumbres for five years. Also included is a letter from Governor Iturbe sent to towns across Mexico, and signed by Spanish officials in those towns acknowledging their having received the correspondence.

Collection of thirty-two decrees and communications from Viceroys Felix Berenguer de Marquina and José de Sturrigaray, mostly copies made in 1802 and 1803. Most of the documents are badly torn around the edges and have stains, and holes on the pages.
