Decree from Diego de Lasaga citing a previous decree that asks for donations from all subjects in America, one peso from freed men, and two from Spaniards; these donations are to go towards sustaining the war effort against England. In this decree de Lasaga explains how this process is to be done.

Printed decree issued by Viceroy Martín de Mayorga Ferrer freeing all manufactured goods from exports from the usual taxes for ten years. This document is taped horizontally down the middle, splitting the document in half.

Decrees from Don Diego de Lasaga in which he cites two previous decrees issued by Viceroy Martín de Mayorga Ferrer. The first cited decree says that all lands in obeyance belong to the Crown and no one may use them; the second says that there are no more taxes on imported or or exported flour.

Correspondence between Joseph Antonio Villarreal de Martínez and Santiago de Jesús Sánchez. According to the text de Martínez wants to know why his wife was put out of the village, and wants an investigation to take place.

Petition from officials in Laredo to the Governor of Nueva Santander Melchor Vidal de Larca y Villena. According to the petition, the townspeople wish to continue rounding up cattle, as they have done since 1755, for their use. The governor responds by granting permission to do this, however branded cattle are to be returned to their owners.

Message from Leonardo Sánchez de la Barrera asking for restitution of five sold animals. In the document he names culprits and an investigation is ordered, and testimonies are given, etc.

Decree from Viceroy Martín de Mayorga Ferrer to all justicias citing a previous decree from May 4, 1780 granting a pardon to deserters of the army and the navy. The Viceroy also sets down the terms of fulfillment for soldiers.

Message from Archbishop Alonso Núñez de Haro y Peralta repeating a decree from February 15, 1773 prohibiting gambling, cards, illegal games, etc. This document has large stains in the corner and smaller stains in the middle of the sheet.

Message from Diego de Lasaga, Governor of Nuevo Santander, citing a royal decree from October 12, 1778 that allows free commerce for ports in New Spain. The lower portion of the document contains a response from the Viceregal agent saying that a 3% tax will be placed on goods coming into Nuevo Santander, as he collected them in Soto La Marina.

Six documents from Manuel Muñoz including decrees and directions from the Intendent of San Luís Potosí. Included are an announcement of his appointment as governor; demands for a six-month account on state of water supply, and crops; a request for monthly reports on favorable or adverse activities, and information on Justicias Mayores; a document concerning the use of titles; and a document investigating complaints against Subdelgado.

Message from Alonso López to Spanish officials in Los Villas de Laredo, Revilla, Mier, Camargo, and Reynosa. López says he wants more information regarding a parish priest collecting tithes in Laredo.

Decrees from Viceroy Manuel Antonio Flores Maldonado citing several previous royal decrees dating back to 1767. This decree discusses the decree from February 8, 1789 providing for free commerce for various American ports, as well as rules for military men wanting to get married.

Decree from Viceroy Manuel Antonio Flores Maldonado citing a decree from June 27, 1788 allowing ex-Jesuits to have the money from chaplaincies or other benefits which came to them from family connections. The document itself is badly stained along its left and right side.

Three decrees from Governor Melchor Vidal de Lorca y Villena from March 31 to April 23, 1788. The first decree requires the fixing of the roads; the second says that goods must be brought through customs first; and the third decree states that no hand guns are allowed. The pages included are covered with stains and contains small tears to the sides of the sheets.

Correspondence between Joseph Nicolás Flores and Santiago de Jesús Sánchez. Flores wants restitution of a horse, which he has wanted for three years already; Sánchez orders an investigation ordered.
