The influence of Stoicism on the Jacobean drama
The purpose of this dissertation is to identify the Stoic influences in the Jacobean drama. Although the Stoic figure and references to Stoicism appear frequently in this drama, there has never been a comprehensive study of the Stoic element in the drama of this period. This study will fill this scholastic gap.

A proposed strategy for reorganizing secondary school teacher preparation in Pakistan
In order to design an educational system that reflects Pakistani culture and ideology, teacher education programs must be developed which reflect the overall expectations by the country's various social, economic, and educational institutions. Crusade for the faith: the Protestant fundamentalist movement in Texas
This work provides a history of the Protestant fundamentalist movement in Texas, beginning with the 1890's and progressing to the 1970's, but it emphasizes the controversial decade of the 1920's. Although it is a narrative account it also attempts to analyze the reasons for the movement's development, while evaluating its impact on the state.

The Impact of Education on Ticuna Indian Culture: an Historical and Ethnographic Field Study

The concept of vision in American school reform: a study of visions of 21st century schooling
The primary objective of this study was to describe and analyze visions of 21st century education articulated by prominent individuals involved with current school reform and restructuring efforts. A second objective was to describe and analyze those images of the most likely educational scenario in the 21st century and the perceived barriers that would prevent realization of those idealized visions.
