A stress analysis of the retaining stud on the ECC Rake has been completed. The analysis considered thermal and mechanical loads that the stud is subjected to during a LOCE. The stud was analyzed to the requirement of Subsection NF of the (1977) ASME Code, Ref. 2. The stud was found to be structurally adequate.
