Video of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences Spring 2023 undergraduate commencement ceremony held on May 12, 2023, at the University of North Texas Coliseum. The video begins with an introduction to the University of North Texas with a short history segment and photographs and videos of various unidentified graduates. Natasha Becker sings the national anthem, accompanied by keyboardist Mooney Tan and the UNT wind orchestra. Dean of the College of Science John Quintanilla gives opening remarks. Neal Smatresk, president of the University of North Texas, gives a speech congratulating the graduates and acknowledging the academic accomplishments of the students. The keynote speaker is Dr. Kiko Kawamura. Additional remarks are made by Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies Lee Hughes and Vice President for University Advancement Brandon Buzbee. The ceremony concludes with Natasha Becker singing the UNT alma mater and the graduates leaving the coliseum.
