The objective of this research is to find, identify, and study each vessel that was a casualty of German U-boats. The second point of their research is to determine the biological effects of the boats on the environment.

An update of Texas A&M and Continental Shelf Associates studies designed to monitor the ongoing ecological health of the coral in the Flower Garden Banks (FGB). This is a deepwater, discontinuous reef that arcs along the outer continental shelf of the Gulf of Mexico and is the site of oil and gas operations that could potentially impact the integrity of the FGB.

Final report of 2002-2003 monitoring of habitat and marine life of the East and West Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary in the Gulf of Mexico

This report evaluates the damage cause by Hurricane Rita to the benthic habitats of four banks: Sonnier, McGrail, Geyer, and Bright. They measured the damage to bank caps the community structure, and used SCUBA to video record the evidence.
