Scrapbook that highlights the activities of American Art Week in communities throughout Texas, including reports from museums, art organizations, and public schools and institutions of higher learning. This book was entered into the American Art Week contest. Ribbons saying "Texas Art" are on the front cover. With each clipping, the number of inches of newspaper print devoted to art and the circulation numbers of each of the papers is included. The focus is on local art events during American Art Week, but also included are activities of federated and non-federated clubs statewide.

According to the title page, the directory supplement contains "an alphabetical directory and cosmopolitan telephone directory of all residents over eighteen with detailed information concerning each; a civic section of local interest and a numerical telephone directory. A complete buyers' guide and classified business directory with special listings for nationally advertised brands and a street guide and householders' directory showing telephone numbers arranged by streets" are also included.
