[Expanded William Waybourn Blackstone presentation with presenter's notes]
An expanded version of a presentation given by William Waybourn at Blackstone headquarters in New York City on June 25, 2019, in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. The presentation reflects on Waybourn's involvement in gay rights and AIDS activism nationally and in Dallas, Texas. An additional slide, written on July 29, 2020, was included shortly before the presentation was donated to UNT Special Collections that reflects on the parallels between the mismanagement of the AIDS epidemic of the 1980s and 1990s and the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic health crisis. This version of the presentation includes Waybourn's speaker's notes.
