Data management plan for the grant "Elucidating Cyclic Fatty Acid Biosynthesis and Compartmentalization to Improve Cottonseed Value." Cotton is an important oilseed crop in the U.S. economy. Cotton seed and other vegetative tissues produce unusual chemicals called cyclic fatty acids that have wide-ranging potential uses from high-value industrial properties to nutrition-oriented uses. This project focuses on identifying genes that contribute to the production and storage of these high value bioproducts.

This report summarizes an evaluation of the UNT Libraries' Political Science-related resources and materials to determine if the collection is adequately serving patron needs. It was generated as part of the UNT Libraries’ contributions to the university’s Academic Program Reviews, which are conducted by the Accreditation office in the Division of Planning. The UNT Libraries’ Collection Assessment Department evaluated collections’ ability to meet the curricular and research needs of the academic programs being reviewed. They assessed current needs based on course descriptions and research outputs, defined the scope of information needed based on this needs assessment, and evaluated the Libraries’ holdings in these subject areas against the usage, qualitative listings, and requests for materials from other libraries. Specific recommendations for collection development are provided based on the results of these analyses.

Phelps interviews Tammye Nash on her experiences as a journalist working for The Dallas Voice. Nash speaks on her involvement with the court case of Mica England, a lesbian woman denied a position with the Dallas Police Department due to her sexuality. Curtis’s “chicken-scratch” solos on the Coasters’ Yakety Yak changed the role of the saxophone in rock & roll forever. His band opened for the Beatles at their famous Shea Stadium concert in 1965. He also backed his “little sister” and close friend Aretha Franklin on nearly all of her tours and Atlantic Records productions from 1967 …
